This was reported by the chairman of the board of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia Oleksandr Pertsovsky in a comment to Noviny.LIVE.

According to him, Russia is targeting traction substations in the direction of the Odesa region to stop logistics to the ports and also to hinder exports.

“The enemy’s goal is to prevent export industries from delivering products to the Odesa ports, but we are restoring substations and providing them with diesel locomotives,” Oleksandr Pertsovsky said.

He also emphasized that since the beginning of the year, the enemy has targeted the railway, in particular, rolling stock, more than 800 times.
