Odesa Port Considers Cooperation with Linz Port on the Danube

Trade Counselor of the Austrian Embassy in Ukraine David Bachmann paid a visit to the Odesa Seaport.
In particular, they discussed the prospects for Austrian investments, the Odesa Seaport Administration reports.
During the visit, the head of the Odesa Seaport Administration Dmytro Nazarenko presented the port’s infrastructure capabilities and production capacities, and outlined plans for the development of key infrastructure projects.
“Special attention was paid to investment projects that are currently being implemented and those planned for the future. They also discussed the issue of increasing the level of security in the port area in wartime conditions,” the report says.
The parties also considered the possibility of establishing cooperation with the port of Linz – the largest river port on the Danube and an important cargo and industrial hub in Austria.
In particular, they discussed the exchange of experience and potential advanced training for specialists from the Odesa Seaport Administration.
