Ukrzaliznytsia updated the speed standards for transportation to ports for 2026


JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” has updated the regulatory indicators of the average daily cargo transportation speed in 2026, according to which the cost of grain carriers of the CTL will be calculated.

This was announced by Valeryi Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work, during an online meeting with participants in the agricultural market.

According to him, these indicators will be directly taken into account when calculating the cost of grain car carriers of the “Center for Transport Logistics” (CTL) branch.

The speed of grain carriers in car/container shipments for export through land border crossings will be 131 km/day, and in route/container train trips to ports – 255 km/day.

Wagon/container shipments of gondola cars for export across land borders will move at a speed of 196 km/day, and route/container trains to ports – 299 km/day.

For cement trucks converted into gondola cars, the speed of wagon/container shipments for export across the land border will be 293 km/day, for route/container trains to ports – 249 km/day.

Food tankers will move at a speed of 228 km/day in wagon/container shipments to border crossings and 245 km/day for route/container trains to ports.
