The SBU attacked a tanker of the Russian “shadow fleet” for the first time in the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea (video)

In the neutral waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the SBU’s Alpha hit a tanker of the Russian “shadow fleet” with aerial drones.
The special operation was carried out at a distance of more than 2 thousand km from the territory of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports, citing sources in the SBU.
The drones hit the QENDIL tanker, which can no longer be used for its intended purpose, the Security Service specified.
The agency emphasized that the attack did not pose any threat to the environmental situation in the region, because at the time of the hit, the Russian tanker was not carrying any cargo.
“The Russian Federation used this tanker to circumvent sanctions and earn money that went to the war against Ukraine. Therefore, from the point of view of international law and the laws and customs of war, this is an absolutely legitimate target for the SBU. The enemy must understand that Ukraine will not stop and will beat it in any part of the world, wherever it is,” the SBU commented.
Previously, USM reported that the “shadow” Russian tanker attacked in Rostov-on-Don began to sink.
