Three ships damaged by Russian night attack

The ports of the Odesa region were subjected to continuous enemy attacks all night. Three ships were damaged.

The Russian attack on seaports took place on the night of December 26, the Ministry for Development of Communites and Territories of Ukraine reported.

The port infrastructure of the Odesa and Mykolaiv regions was hit.

“As a result of the drone strikes, elevators, warehouses of civilian enterprises, a barge, and ships under the flags of Slovakia and the Republic of Palau were damaged. Rescuers are extinguishing fires at the sites of the strikes,” the ministry said.

Port workers continue to inspect the damage. There are partial power outages, repair crews are working on restoring them.

A terminal in the Mykolaiv region was also hit by Russian UAVs. A ship under the flag of Liberia was damaged. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Restoration work is ongoing.
