European organization presents EU Ports Strategy

The EU Strategy for Industrial Maritime Transport was also presented.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the EU project “Promoting the Transport Development of the Dnipro River”.

The organization noted that both strategies set the course for the creation of the sector, and will also help to ensure a level playing field, increase competitiveness and protect investments for ports, shipping and shipbuilding industries.

“In particular, they will promote the use of clean and digital technologies. Strategies aimed at increasing the sector’s resilience to physical, cyber and hybrid threats will help address the problem of persistent geopolitical instability, defending the EU’s interests at the international level, supporting the development of defense and dual infrastructure, and contributing to the creation of quality jobs in Europe,” the message says.
