Russian troops attacked the Liberian-flagged bulk carrier “Lady Maris” with strike drones.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy.
The “Lady Maris” vessel was attacked while transiting to the port of Chornomorsk to load Ukrainian corn.
“The attack resulted in a fire. The crew was not injured,” the Ukrainian Navy reported.
A boat of the Ukrainian Navy quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
According to the Ministry of Development and the Ukrainian Port Authority, the “Lady Maris” vessel continued its movement and reached the port.
It will be recalled, that also on the night of April 14, Russia attacked maritime infrastructure facilities in Izmail with strike drones. A civilian vessel under the Panamanian flag was damaged.
