The Port of Chornomorsk confirmed the reorganization of the state-owned enterprise into an LLC

By order of the Ministry of Development and the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Enterprise “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk” was reorganized into a limited liability company.
This is stated in an official document that USM has reviewed.
The document states that 100% of the shares in the authorized capital of the LLC will belong to the state.
It was also reported that LLC “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk” will be the legal successor to all property rights and obligations of the State Enterprise “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk”.
In particular, in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine, creditors have the right to declare their claims against the State Enterprise “Sea Trade Port “Chornomorsk”. The term for declaring such claims is two months from the date of entry in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities.
“We draw your attention to the fact that the reorganization of the enterprise is not a basis for terminating or changing the terms of existing contracts, unless otherwise expressly provided for by law or the terms of such contracts. The enterprise continues to carry out its economic activities,” the port said.
As previously reported by USM, among the state-owned enterprises subject to reorganization are seven Ukrainian ports.
