Customs has adopted another decision regarding digitalization in Ukrainian ports

The State Customs Service has approved the specification of electronic messages for data exchange between business and customs regarding notifications of the presentation of goods in ports.
This is Order No. 1753 dated 10.04.2026, the Association of International Forwarders of Ukraine reports.
Thus, the State Customs Service has established a single format for electronic messages between the cargo owner (or representative) and customs, laid the foundation for process automation and unified data transfer between business and customs.
“This is another step towards paperless interaction in port logistics. In particular, such a solution is the basis for automatic data exchange between systems (DocPort / customs / terminal / business), as well as preparation for deeper integration of digital processes in ports,” the AMEU notes.
Forwarders also emphasized that the decision of the State Customs Service of Ukraine is an important systemic step, which is the basis for digital interaction between the state and the market and acceleration of customs formalities in ports.
“The next step is for business and the USPA: integration and practical implementation. We believe that the digitalization of the industry will take place,” the association concluded.
Earlier, USM reported that the government had approved changes that accelerate customs procedures in ports.
