Ukraine will insist on the implementation of a complete ban on sea exports of Russian oil

Ukraine will insist that the 21st EU sanctions package against Russia include a complete ban on sea exports of Russian oil.

This was stated by the Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy of Ukraine Vladyslav Vlasyuk in a commentary to “Liga”.

According to him, work is already underway on the 21st package of sanctions of the European Union against Russia. This time, the emphasis will be on blocking cryptocurrency schemes to circumvent restrictions. After all, with the help of cryptocurrency, Russia can pay for goods bypassing banking restrictions, in particular, for military components.

Ukraine will also insist on further strengthening energy restrictions, including the introduction of a complete ban on sea exports of Russian oil and petroleum products.
