Kuleba: 197 million tons of cargo transported via Ukrainian maritime corridor

Since 2023, more than 197 million tons of cargo have already passed through the Ukrainian mritime corridor, of which 117 million tons are grain.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba.
In particular, the minister held an on-site meeting with the management of ports, the Odessa OVA and the MVA on the operation of port infrastructure in the face of constant Russian attacks.
According to him, the main topic was the protection of ports and people who ensure their work every day.
“It is important that there are already ports that demonstrate effective results in the implementation of protection systems. In particular, the creation of mobile air defense groups and other practical solutions that allow maintaining the operation of critical infrastructure even in conditions of constant attacks. Such experience should be scaled up to other ports,” Kuleba emphasized.
