Ukraine and Lithuania have reached an agreement on long-term LNG supplies through the Klaipeda terminal during intergovernmental consultations.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svirydenko.
According to her, liquefied natural gas can be supplied from both American and Middle Eastern producers.
“Ukrainian Naftogaz has already received such consignments. Our agreements will allow us to strengthen this channel. An important step for our sustainability,” Svirydenko commented.
Earlier, USM reported that “Naftogaz” imported American LNG for the first time through the German terminal on Rügen.
