ARMA announced a competition for the transfer of control of the Russian vessel Emmakris III

ARMA will announce a competition to select managers for a Russian ship that was tried to be stolen from Ukraine last year.

This was reported by the Asset Tracking and Management Agency (ARMA).

The competition is planned to be announced in the near future. The transfer to management will take place according to the updated rules introduced as part of the Agency’s reform.

Among the assets is the dry cargo vessel Emmakris III, which is located in the waters of the seaport of Chornomorsk. The asset can be used for transshipment and storage of dry cargo.

The owner of the vessel was a Russian company registered in Rostov-on-Don.

“This involves the formation of complete information about the assets, determining their characteristics and preparing tender documentation for holding open tenders through the Prozorro system,” the message says.

The Agency noted that they are currently assessing the said assets, which is a necessary stage for determining their market value and preparing for further transfer to management.

We will remind, last year in Ukraine, an attempt to hijack the arrested Russian ship Emmakris III was foiled.
