Russia attacked 28 civilian vessels in the ports of Great Odesa in a month

As a result of the Russian strikes on the ports of Great Odesa, 21 people were killed and 34 others were injured.
From June 20 to July 20, Russian troops attacked 28 civilian merchant ships in the ports of Great Odesa, Inna Verba, a spokeswoman for the Odesa regional prosecutor’s office, told Radio Liberty.
According to her, among the attacked ships, two were Ukrainian, and another 26 were foreign. Russian troops mainly used strike drones for strikes, but in recent days the use of missiles has become more frequent.
The largest strike in terms of casualties occurred on July 19. Russia attacked the “Golden Leo” dry cargo ship under the Guinea-Bissau flag with a missile, which was leaving the port of Odesa with a cargo of corn. The missile hit the ship’s superstructure, after which a fire broke out on board.
There were 17 crew members on board — citizens of Syria and India, as well as a Ukrainian pilot. The attack killed 10 people — nine crew members and the pilot. The surviving sailors were evacuated to Odesa.
Earlier, Maersk temporarily suspended its service through the port of Chornomorsk.
