Russia attacked civilian ships in the ports of the Mykolaiv region

On the night of July 27, Russian troops attacked civilian merchant ships that remain blocked in the ports of the Mykolaiv region.
As a result of the attack, one person died and several others were injured, the USPA reported.
The agency noted that the ships that were making commercial voyages due to the blockade of the region came under fire.
The USPA emphasized that the shelling of ships that have been unable to leave Ukrainian ports for years indicates the systematic nature of Russian attacks on the maritime industry and poses a direct threat to the lives of civilian seafarers.
Ukraine continues to document such cases and calls on the international maritime community to respond decisively to Russia’s attacks on the civilian merchant fleet.
