CPC resumes oil shipment operations at the port of Novorossiysk

The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has resumed oil loading operations through the sea terminal in the port of Novorossiysk.
This was reported by The Moscow Times with reference to the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan.
“Today, two CPC remote berths are loading the tankers SEAMAJESTY and MILOS. Both vessels are receiving oil from Tengizchevroil LLC,” the agency said in a statement.
The resumption of oil reception allows oil companies to continue supplying raw materials to the CPC pipeline system and resume export operations through the sea terminal.
CPC exports more than 80% of all Kazakh oil exports, the bulk of which comes from the giant Caspian fields of Tengiz, Kashagan and Karachaganak.
The consortium planned to transship about 1.6 million barrels of oil per day in July.
The shareholders of CPC are Russia, which owns 31%, Kazakhstan (20.75%), Chevron (15%) and private companies.
Recall that a few days ago, Kazakhstan suspended oil exports through the Black Sea after attacks by Ukrainian drones.
After that, Chevron CEO Mike Wirth met with representatives of the administration of US President Donald Trump and discussed the situation in the Black Sea and the protection of its interests in this region. Following the meeting, the White House called on Ukraine not to attack non-Russian vessels in the Black Sea.
