Russia attacked 232 ships in the Black Sea during the full-scale war, — Ukraine in the OSCE

Since the start of the full-scale war, Russian troops have struck 232 ships in the Black Sea and destroyed over a thousand Ukrainian port infrastructure facilities.
This was stated by the Ukrainian delegation during a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation, Ukrinform reports.
According to the Ukrainian side, over four and a half years, Russia has destroyed 1,054 port infrastructure facilities. More than 30 ships were attacked in the summer of 2026 alone.
As a result of the strikes, 307 citizens of Ukraine and other countries were killed or injured.
The delegation emphasized that Russia systematically attacks civilian merchant ships, Ukrainian ports, and grain silos. In particular, on the eve of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, Russian troops attacked a ship under the flag of Palau with a cargo of corn, and on the day of the meeting, ships blocked since 2022 in the ports of the Mykolaiv region.
“The Kremlin is trying to block the work of Ukrainian ports at the height of the harvest season and stop the sea export of Ukrainian grain,” Ukrainian representatives said.
The Ukrainian delegation also warned that the continuation of the attacks poses a threat to food supplies to the countries of Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Ukraine stated that it will use all available means to protect sea routes, port infrastructure and freedom of navigation in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
