Ukraine has simplified the import of diesel fuel from sanctioned ports and terminals, — media

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has allowed the energy customs to process imported diesel fuel from ports and terminals on the sanctioned list without additional inspections and sampling.
This was reported by enkorr with reference to market participants.
The changes should simplify the supply of fuel from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and other destinations.
In the first half of August, 22 thousand tons of diesel fuel of Indian origin have already arrived in Ukraine – twice as much as in the first seven months of the year.
In particular, BRSM-Nafta imported two batches of Indian diesel fuel with a total volume of 12 thousand tons from the Turkish Opet terminal in Marmara. The rest of the resource arrived through the Oil Terminal in Constanta.
At the end of July, 41 thousand tons of Indian diesel fuel also arrived in Constanta from the Opet terminal.
At the same time, some large Ukrainian gas station chains are still avoiding Indian fuel, preferring resources from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Greece and Israel.
Recall that the list of risky ports and terminals was introduced by the SBU in 2023. Later, it was repeatedly changed and supplemented.
In 2025, USM reported that the supply of petroleum products from the Romanian port of Constanta, which is one of the key ones for the Ukrainian market, could be subject to sanctions.
