USPA is the fourth state-owned company in Ukraine in terms of profit

Of the 15 largest state-owned companies in Ukraine, 10 companies showed profit for 9 months of work.
USPA received UAH 1.44 billion (USD 52.7 million) of profit and took 4th place in the ranking. This is reported by the Marlin project with reference to reports on the implementation of indicators of the financial plans of the companies.
The largest incomes were received by:
- Ukrhydroenergo – in the amount of UAH 9.14 billion (USD 334.7 million);
- Operator of the gas transmission system of Ukraine – UAH 5.8 billion (USD 212.4 million);
- Energoatom – UAH 2.35 billion (USD 86.08 million);
- Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority – UAH 1.44 billion (USD 52.7 million);
- Ukroboronprom – UAH 797 million (USD 29.1 million).
“We should also note the financial results of Naftogaz. So, the company reported for three quarters of 2021 on profit of UAH 9.78 billion (USD 358.2 million) for a separate legal entity Naftogaz. However, the company also reported a cumulative net loss of UAH 4.37 billion (USD 160.07 million) from the group of enterprises managed by Naftogaz,” Marlin writes.
Among the unprofitable enterprises were:
- Ukrenergo – with UAH 2.74 billion (USD 100.3 million) of loss;
- Ukrzaliznytsia – from UAH 461 million (USD 16.8 million) of loss;
- Gosprodzernokorporatsiya – UAH 328 million (USD 12.01 million) of loss;
- Highways of Ukraine – UAH 118 million (USD 4.32 million) in losses;
- UkSATSE – UAH 77.5 million (USD 2.83 million) in losses.
Transport companies attributed their own losses to the coronavirus; the grain corporation – a decrease in income due to problems with the Chinese counterparty, and Ukrenergo – with special obligations to the “green energy”.
As USM previously reported, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the financial plan of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” for the next year.
