The Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Vladyslava Mahaletska, resigned voluntarily.
The resignation letter is connected with the state of health of the official. Vladyslava Mahaletska announced this on her Facebook page.
“Yesterday I filed an application for dismissal from the post of Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection voluntarily. The reason is the urgent recommendations of doctors for health reasons in the next few months,” said Mahaletska.
According to her, the work of the Head of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection requires full dedication “in 24/7/365 mode.” The official considered it wrong to take a long sick leave and leave a huge structure in limbo with virtually no headship, and therefore resigned.
During her work, she, among other things, has repeatedly participated in various discussions of the results and prospects for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine. In addition, Vladyslava Mahaletska collaborated as an expert with USM, for example, in an article about the quality of Ukrainian grain.
