Sailors rescued from sinking HELT vessel


Six sailors from the Russian-hit vessel HELT have been rescued.

This was reported by the press service of the MIU. The vessel was hit by a missile from the Russian Navy, after which it sank in a 12-mile zone on the traverse of the port of Pivdennyi.

The six sailors who were on the vessel have now been found and are on board the SAR 01 rescue vessel. The health of all crew members is satisfactory. Currently, the rescue boat is returning to the port of Chornomorsk.

SAR 02 continues to be on duty in the area of the sunken vessel.
