Ukraine does not sign agreements on grain export with russia
Ukraine does not sign any agreements with russia on the export of grain.
“We are signing an agreement with Turkey and the UN, and we are committing to them. Russia is signing a mirror agreement with Turkey and the UN,” said on his Twitter Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser of the head of the President’s Office.
According to him, the vessels with the grain will not be accompanied by russian ships, and there will be no representatives of the aggressor state in Ukrainian ports.
All inspections of grain vessels will be carried out by the joint teams in Turkish waters, if necessary.
“In case of provocations – an immediate military response will take place,” Podolyak emphasized.
We’d like to remind, that today in Istanbul, the Ukrainian delegation is negotiating with the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. The topic is the UN initiative to unblock seaports for food exports and guarantee the safety of ships.
Reports are already appearing online that the parties have signed an agreement to export grain from Ukraine, but there is currently no official confirmation.
