In the Baltic Sea, a vessel chartered by the operating company Nord Stream AG arrived at the accident site of the Nord Stream -1 gas pipeline.
A specially equipped vessel arrived at the likely site of the gas pipeline damage in Sweden’s exclusive economic zone.
“After carrying out the calibration work, the experts will be ready within a day to begin the examination of the damaged area, which according to current estimates will take from 3 to 5 days,” the website of the Nord Stream company reported.
Nord Stream AG also continues to wait for permission from the authorities to survey a section of the gas pipeline in Denmark’s exclusive economic zone.
