Only russian federation threatens global food security, — Zelenskyy
The President of Ukraine said that russian missiles fly over the routes of the “grain corridor”.
“Today we have a significant diplomatic result for our country and the whole world – the grain export initiative will continue to work. Russian blackmail did not lead to anything. The UN and Secretary General Guterres personally responded in a principled and effective way. The President of Turkey, Erdogan, also took part. Other leading subjects of international relations also responded in a timely and fair manner. Once again, everyone was convinced that there is only one threat to global food security in our region, and it is russian federation, and no one else,” President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized in his video message.
He also recalled that he had discussed the security of the grain corridor and the Black Sea with Turkish President Erdogan.
“On November 2, a russian plane launched cruise missiles near Zmiyny, and they actually flew over the grain corridor routes. And every such ussian launch – and they are almost daily – directly threatens food exports. And it is the partners’ responsibility to work together to reduce the Russian threat,” the President emphasized.
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyi, the situation also affected indicators on the stock exchanges, because every time Russian blackmail intensifies, food prices rise. And every time the world does not give in to blackmail, agricultural products become cheaper.
