More than 600 ships left Ukrainian ports along the “grain corridor”
During the 150 days of operation of the “grain corridor”, 605 ships with food left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi.
In particular, in December, 100 ships with 3.6 million tons of agricultural products left Ukrainian ports.
Currently, the average number of ships sent per day is less than 4 units, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported.
In total, during the grain initiative, 15.9 million tons of food were exported from Ukraine. Of them, wheat — 4.7 million tons, corn — 7 million tons.
October was the most productive month in the work of the “grain corridor”: 4.2 million tons of Ukrainian grain were exported from the Black Sea ports. The smallest amount of food was shipped in August — 1.7 million tons.
Also, since August 1, 9 ships under the UN program left Ukraine with 300,000 tons of agricultural products.
As part of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program, 3 ships with 80,000 tons of wheat left the ports of Odesa for African countries.
