Romania and Moldova will build a pontoon bridge to transport grain from Ukraine

Romania and Moldova plan to build a pontoon bridge across the border river Prut. This will help to increase the transportation of goods from Ukraine.
The pontoon bridge will be used by both passenger and freight vehicles, reports Gospodarka morska.
According to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport of Romania, Irinel Skriostianu, the new crossing will be built on the place where the bridge between the village of Bombata and the city of Leova stood until 1944, which was destroyed as a result of the actions of the Red Army.
