A boat overturned on the Danube due to the wind: border guards from Odesa region rescued the boy

Border guards pulled a 19-year-old boy from Romania out of the water on the Danube River. His boat capsized due to bad weather.
According to the victim, the boat overturned due to strong wind. The helmsman fell into the water and held on to the boat, which was being swept away by the current, the Izmail Border Patrol reported.
He was later spotted by Ukrainian border guards and pulled out of the cold water. The boat could not be saved.
The boy has now been handed over to the Romanian border guards.
