A marine terminal caught fire in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation after a drone attack


Local authorities claim that drones have struck the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.

This is reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

According to Governor Veniamin Kondratyev, a large-scale fire broke out as a result of the fall of drone debris on the territory of the Temryuk port railway terminal.

96 people and more than 30 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.

According to the Exilenova+ monitoring channel, the Defense Forces struck the port complex in Taman, as a result of which two fires broke out. The first broke out on the territory of the liquefied hydrocarbon gas terminal of the Tamanneftegaz company – the largest liquefied hydrocarbon transshipment complex in the south of the Russian Federation. The tank fleet of the transshipment complex is 28.8 thousand m³ and includes tanks for storing propane and butane under pressure. Separate pumping stations for each type of gas also operate at the facility.

The second fire signature is recorded in the area of ​​​​the freight parking lot and warehouse infrastructure. The nature and extent of the damage are currently being clarified.
