Sea Ports Authority of Ukraine is turning 13

Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Oleksiy Kuleba congratulated the organization’s staff.

“Today, Ukrainian ports are one of the components of the state’s resilience, the ability to work and develop even under the constant threat of shelling. Despite the attacks, you find solutions, strengthen protection and ensure the uninterrupted operation of critically important infrastructure,” Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that thanks to this daily work, the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor functions, exports are maintained, the country’s economy is supported and a contribution is made to global food security.
Deputy Minister Andriy Kashuba also delivered a welcoming speech to the USPA employees. He emphasized that the work of the port industry today goes far beyond logistics and infrastructure and requires quick decisions, endurance and coordinated teamwork. In these conditions, the USPA team has repeatedly proven its ability to adapt to challenges, act proactively, and combine security solutions with strategic development.
“Today, the USPA team is working on the development and restoration of infrastructure, the introduction of modern technologies, strengthening port security, and ensuring conditions for the maritime industry. Together with the military, government agencies, business, and international partners, we are forming a new system for protecting port infrastructure and maritime logistics,” commented the head of the SE “USPA” Mykola Kravchuk.
Earlier, USM reported that the USPA signed a contract with a shipyard in Mykolaiv for the construction of pilot boats.
