About 70% of all agricultural products are exported through the ports of Great Odesa
In general, approximately 9 billion dollars worth of agricultural products have already been exported through the Ukrainian maritime corridor.
Since the beginning of the operation of the Ukrainian maritime corridor, more than 42 million tons of agricultural products have been exported through the ports of Great Odesa. This was reported by acting Minister of Agricultural Policy Taras Vysotskyi.
In monetary terms, the volume of agricultural products exported for the year reaches 9 billion dollars.
Currently, Ukraine exports about 70% of all agricultural products by sea. These indicators are not significantly lower than before the war. Thus, before the start of the full-scale invasion, 80-85% of grain was exported through sea ports.
The drop in export volumes is largely due to the fact that Mykolaiv port remains blocked. In the pre-war period, the port of Mykolaiv played one of the key roles in the export logistics of agricultural products.
The day before, USM wrote that 2,300 ships used the Ukrainian maritime corridor during the year.
