An information window for sailors has opened in Odesa
Ukrainian seafarers can get advice without an electronic queue by contacting the information window.
This was announced by the head of the Shipping Administration Yevhenii Ignatenko.
An information window for seafarers and their representatives opened in Odesa on April 11.
What information can be obtained from IP:
• document production status;
• list of necessary documents for submission and receipt;
• necessary details for filling out the application;
• assistance and clarification regarding the use of digital services;
• cost of services and methods of payment;
• regarding receiving a month in the electronic queue online/through the terminal;
• the time of receiving applications and issuing documents.
What information will not be provided in IP:
• examination of the seafarer’s seniority and a conclusion on whether he will be able to confirm/increase his qualification/rank or not (the seniority is considered exclusively by the State Qualification Commission);
• consultations on establishing the legitimacy of documents;
• Disagreement with the decision of the State Qualification Commission regarding the refusal to issue qualification documents (such decisions are appealed within the framework of the appeal commission of the Shipping Administration, or with the help of eliminating mistakes made when submitting an application).

“Employees of the Information Window do not review applications and documents, do not make decisions on issuing qualification documents, do not get a place in the electronic queue for a seafarer or his representative,” Yevhenii Ignatenko noted.
We will remind, as of April 8, 3,449 sailors used the service of obtaining a seafarer’s record book by mail.
