Another 11 ships with grain left the ports of Odesa
In two days, 422,000 tons of agricultural products were exported from the ports of Great Odesa to Africa, Asia and Europe.
11 ships with grain left Ukrainian ports. In particular, Alanda Star departed with 30.8 thousand tons of wheat for Egypt. The Eurochampione tanker will also deliver a thousand tons of oil to India, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
The biggest obstacle in the work of the “grain corridor” remains the inhibition of the inspection of ships in the Bosphorus by russian federation. Deliberate delays led to a queue of 96 ships, million-dollar losses for cargo owners and unrealized exports of at least 5-6 million tons during the year.
In addition to reducing the number of inspection groups, the russian side resorted to the tactic of prolonging the duration of the inspections themselves due to the requirements to check the parameters of vessels that are not regulated by the SCC documents and have nothing to do with the subject of the inspection. As a result of such actions, the number of fleets moving to be loaded with Ukrainian agricultural products is reduced.
In total, since the beginning of the Grain Agreement, 605 ships have left the ports of Ukraine, exporting 15.9 million tons of Ukrainian food to the countries of Asia, Europe and Africa.
