At least 20% of the “shadow fleet” vessels have stopped, — Zelenskyy

Thanks to pressure measures coordinated between Ukraine and other states, at least 20% of the “shadow fleet” vessels have been stopped.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) Oleg Lugovsky.
“Thanks to our coordinated pressure measures on the shadow fleet with some states, at least 20% of the fleet’s vessels have been stopped, and Russia is trying to compensate for this loss by attracting new vessels,” the report says.
Zelenskyy instructed the FIS to provide partners with new information on Russia’s efforts to expand the tanker fleet and stated that all of them should be added to the sanctions lists.
“We will also continue sanctions pressure on tanker crews, captains, insurers and the entire infrastructure of the shadow fleet,” the President emphasized.
Zelensky also said that the restrictions on Russian seaborne oil exports currently in place are expected to cut Russian revenues by at least $30 billion annually. Additional pressure will certainly increase this amount of Russian losses, and therefore reduce the financing of Russia’s war.
Earlier, USM reported that tankers with Russian oil were stuck in the sea near Asia.
