Belgium demands 10 million euros in bail for the release of a Russian “shadow fleet” tanker

Belgium has set a bail of 10 million euros for the detained tanker of the Russian “shadow fleet” Ethera.
45 violations were found on the vessel, HNL reports.
The violations are mostly related to forged certificates and a fake Guinean flag.
Belgian authorities noted that the vessel will be able to set sail again after paying the bail, carrying out inspections and obtaining the correct flag and documents.
The crew remains on the vessel. consisting of 21 people.
Earlier, USM reported that Belgium had detained a tanker that had previously delivered cargo from Russia to Morocco.
