Britain introduced sanctions against another 11 vessels carrying Russian oil

Great Britain added 11 more vessels to the sanctions list, which were involved in the transportation of oil or oil products from the Russian Federation.

Sanctions against ships (among them Zaliv Amurskyi and SKF Pechora) relate to transportation of Russian oil, Reuters reports.

Sub-sanctioned vessels operate under the flags of Panama, Gabon and the Cook Islands.

In June, Britain introduced its first sanctions against “shadow fleet” vessels.

It will be recalled that the USA recently imposed sanctions against 11 vessels transporting oil from Iran.

Earlier, USM reported that the US Treasury Department proposes to introduce sanctions against Russian ships gradually, but the White House is afraid of rising oil prices.
