Bulk carrier thief loaded over 7,000 tons of wheat at Mariupol port

The Irkutsk vessel (IMO:9419084) loaded 7,774.643 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol and is probably heading to Alexandria.

This was reported by Kateryna Yaresko, a journalist for the SeaKrime project of the Peacemaker Center.

According to her, from May 28 to June 2, the Russian bulk carrier Irkutsk loaded 7,774.643 tons of wheat in occupied Mariupol.

“After that, the vessel entered the Russian port of Temryuk for paperwork.

The exporter is the Mostagro company (TIN 9701208412). The port of destination is Oran (Algeria). It may go to Alexandria (Egypt), we will observe,” Kateryna Yaresko noted.

Recall that in early May, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry wrote that Egypt allowed the vessel to unload stolen Ukrainian grain. The Asomatos, which unloaded in Abu Kir, is the fourth case in Egyptian ports since April 2026.
