Customs will be temporarily headed by the ex-head of the Maritime Administration
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed a new temporary head of customs. This turned out to be Deputy chairman Serhii Zvyagintsev.
On Wednesday, February 1, the Cabinet of Ministers temporarily assigned the duties of the head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine to Serhiy Zvyagintsev. The representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, informed about personnel decisions.
We will remind you that in February 2020, Serhiy Zvyagintsev was appointed acting head of the State Service of Sea and River Transport of Ukraine (Maritime Administration). However, he was able to work there for a short time, only 8 months, although in July he was appointed the head of the Moral Administration, concluding with him a contract for public service for the period of quarantine.
Already in October 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the decision to dismiss Serhiy Zvyagintsev.
