Drones attacked the port of Taganrog: a tanker and a fuel tank caught fire


On the night of May 30, drones attacked the port infrastructure of the city of Taganrog, Rostov Region, Russia.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out on a tanker, and a fuel tank also caught fire, writes Ukrainskaya Pravda.

Monitoring channels noted that explosions were heard in different areas of Taganrog. Local residents reported the sounds of drones flying over and explosions in the area of ​​the port and aircraft factory.

Later, the attack was confirmed by the governor of the Rostov Region, Yuriy Slyusar.

According to him, a tanker, a fuel tank, and an administrative building caught fire on the territory of the port. No people were injured.

The oil depot of Yuzhnaya Neftyanaya Kompaniya LLC in Armavir, Krasnodar Territory, Russia, was also attacked at night. The extent of damage to this facility is currently unknown.

As previously reported by USM, the port of Tuapse has not been accepting ships for over a month. Since April 23, the port has not received any oil tankers or other civilian vessels. The nearest vessel with radar is more than 35 km from the coast.
