Due to attacks on ports, the logistics of Ukrainian agricultural exports increased in price by $45 per ton

Russian attacks on port and logistics infrastructure have increased the cost of Ukrainian agricultural exports by approximately $45 per ton.
This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky during a conversation with the Minister of Environment, Water Resources and Agriculture of Saudi Arabia Abdurrahman Al-Fadl.
According to Vysotskyi, Ukraine previously exported about 6 million tons of cargo per month through the ports of Great Odesa. Alternative routes can compensate for only part of these volumes.
Ukraine also called on Saudi Arabia to increase direct purchases of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products.
Separately, the parties agreed to work on holding a Ukrainian-Saudi business seminar, where they plan to present investment projects in port infrastructure, terminals, processing and agricultural production.
Ukraine and Saudi Arabia will also prepare a draft memorandum of cooperation and new trade and investment projects.
