Eurorail via Lviv should connect the Baltic and the port of Constanta, — Sadovyi

By 2030, Lviv railway station should be connected to the Eurorail. The narrow-gauge railway through Lviv should connect the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea.
This was stated by Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy during the 2025 report, Ukrinform reports.
By 2027, the Eurorail should be laid to the Sknyliv station, and by 2030 – to the city’s main station. Also, by 2030, there should be two branches: passenger and freight to Warsaw, as well as a separate one – from Vienna to Sknyliv.
At the next stage, according to Sadovy, the narrow-gauge railway through Lviv should connect the Baltic Sea and the Romanian port of Constanta on the Black Sea.
“If once it looked like a myth, today it is a reality that is being implemented in life,” the Lviv mayor added.
USM previously reported that Ukrzaliznytsia transported a record amount of meal in 2025.
