Export of agricultural products through the “grain corridor” decreased by 18%

From June 19 to 25, the export of agricultural products from seaports of Ukraine within the framework of the Grain Agreement decreased by 18%.

Over the past week, Ukraine exported 358.3 thousand tons of agricultural products through the “grain corridor” — this is 18% less than a week earlier, UCAB reports.

The number of ships loaded last week was 6 units — 3 less than the previous week. These vessels have been loaded but have not yet been inspected to proceed to their ports of destination.

Indicators are expected to be at the same low level this week, as only 6 vessels passed inspection at the entrance from June 19 to 25.

Last week, corn (68% of exports during this period) and wheat (32%) were mostly exported through the “grain corridor”.

The products were sent to the countries of Europe (Spain and the Netherlands), Asia (China and Indonesia) and Africa (Egypt).

In general, since the start of the “grain corridor” from August 1, 2022 to June 25, 2023, Ukraine exported 32.4 million tons of agricultural products.
