Exports from the ports of Great Odesa decreased by 26%


Last week, the volume of exports of agricultural products from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi decreased by 26%.

During the 34th week of operation of the “grain corridor”, from March 20 to 26, 804.2 thousand tons of agricultural products were exported through the sea ports of the Odesa region – this is 26% less than a week earlier, the Ukrainian Agrarian Business Club reported.

At the same time, the number of ships that were loaded during this time is 22 units – the same as a week earlier.

During the 34th week of operation of the “grain corridor”, corn (52% of exports during this period), wheat (29%) and soybeans (5%) were exported the most.

Ukrainian products were sent to the countries of Asia (China, Bangladesh, Vietnam and others), Africa (Egypt, Algeria, Ethiopia and others) and Europe (Spain, Italy and the Netherlands).

In general, since the beginning of the Black Sea Initiative, Ukraine has been able to export 25.9 million tons of agricultural products.
