Exports through the “grain corridor” have significantly decreased
Food exports from the ports of Great Odesa decreased by more than 20%.
The decrease in volumes was influenced by the artificial limitation of the work of the RCC by russian federation. Currently, 92 vessels are waiting for inspection by the RCC. As of today, only three of the 65 declared vessels have been registered. This situation leads to restrictions on the work of Ukrainian ports and an export deficit of at least 3 million tons per month, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
In addition, as a result of the rocket attack on December 11, Odesa and Pivdennyi ports were completely de-energized, the port of Chornomorsk worked partially.
Exports were also affected by weather conditions: due to rain and fog, the loading of vessels was temporarily limited, writes “Suspilne” with reference to USPA.
