For the first time in the port of Mariupol, steel was loaded into containers with awnings

For the first time containers with special awnings were loaded in SE “Mariupol Commercial Sea Port”.

The unusual technology allows to protect the container from precipitation, the press service of the SE MCSP said.

“We have to develop skills and technologies not only for transshipment of various types of cargo by sea, but also for loading and unloading on various types of wagons, containers and railway platforms,” the company said.

Representatives of the state contractor clarified that unusual containers with steel coils will go to Hungary.

The containers are owned by the Polish company Laude Smart Intermodal, CFTS notes. The company carries out intermodal transportation, accepting and shipping cargoes by rail, including from Ukraine. The main nomenclature is represented by container, bulk, universal cargo, steel coils.
