The Head of the State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” Mykola Kravchuk met at the Odessa Seaport a delegation of the Supervisory Board of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) led by the President of Poland in 1995–2005 Aleksander Kwasniewski.
The delegation also included former Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt, former Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, former President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid and Vice President of Havas Group Stefan Fuchs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the work of Ukrainian ports and the functioning of maritime logistics in conditions of a full-scale war.
According to Mykola Kravchuk, despite constant missile and drone attacks, the maritime industry ensures the uninterrupted operation of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor, supports the country’s economy, and contributes to global food security.
He also emphasized that the resilience of Ukrainian ports is the result of the joint work of port workers, the Defense Forces, state bodies, and international partners, which allows maintaining the uninterrupted operation of maritime logistics.
