Freight rates for “handy sizes” in the Black Sea have fallen

“Handysize” freight rates have decreased compared to last week. This is due to the large amount of free tonnage, according to Spike Brokers.

Also, the lack of demand in the Danube ports led to a decrease in freight rates in the barge segment. On the other hand, there is a slight increase in rates in the “fire pit” segment. Rates for panamax vessels remain at last week’s level.
