Germany has confirmed that the explosions on the Nord Streams were “non-accidental”

German investigators have determined that a series of explosions on the underwater gas pipelines of the Nord Streams were probably caused by sabotage.

Experts have not yet been able to definitively link the explosions to any individual. However, according to officials, investigative work is being conducted based on the assumption that russia stands behind the gas leaks. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.

It is unlikely that the sabotage was carried out by a military submarine due to the relatively shallow depth of the sea and the close monitoring of submarines in the region by the NATO Navy. One theory is that the explosive devices were dropped from the ship and then detonated remotely.

Moscow denies responsibility and says the explosions were a “terrorist attack aimed at russia’s interests.”

Previously, USM wrote that the investigation of damage to the Nord Stream gas pipelines confirmed the version of the explosion.
