Humanitarian catastrophe is the main issue of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia

Yesterday, the third round of negotiations between representatives of Ukraine and the Russian Federation took place.

Based on the results of this stage of negotiations, there are some positive developments in improving the logistics of humanitarian corridors. This was announced by the Adviser to the Head of the President’s Office and one of the members of the Ukrainian delegation, Mykhailo Podoliak.

“On the basic political block of the settlement, along with a ceasefire and security guarantees, intensive consultations have continued,” the participant in the negotiations also noted.

Members of delegations report on the results of negotiations as abstractly as possible so as not to interrupt the process of establishing contact between the parties. But it is obvious that in its views on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, the Russian Federation adheres to the previous position.
