In February, Ukraine exported more than 3 million tons of grain by waterway


2.6 million tons of agricultural products were exported through the ports of Great Odesa in the first half of February.

As of February 15, Ukraine exported 3.2 million tons of agricultural products by water transport, Spike Brokers analysts report.

In particular, 581,000 tons were exported through the ports of the Danube, 2.6 million tons through the ports of Great Odesa.

Sea and river freight rates remained unchanged compared to last week.

Market rates of transportation by river transport:

• Izmail, Ukraine — Constanta, Romania — 21-26€ (1-3 thousand tons),

• Izmail, Ukraine — Italy, East Coast — $36-43 (6-10 thousand tons),

• Izmail, Ukraine — Greece, East coast — $30-33 (6-10 thousand tons).

Market rates for transportation by sea:

• Chornomorsk, Ukraine — Spain, Mediterranean — $35-37 (30-35 thousand tons),

• Chornomorsk, Ukraine — Italy, East Coast — $33-35 (30-35 thousand tons),

• Chornomorsk, Ukraine — Portugal — $36-39 (30-35 thousand tons),

• Chornomorsk, Ukraine — China — $65-67 (60-65 thousand tons).

As previously reported by USM, Ukraine has exported 27 million tons of grain since the beginning of the season.
