In Kherson, the russians seized the barges and ordered the ships to raise the three-coloured flag

In occupied Kherson, the russians stole 13 out of 15 barge-type watercraft from the local river port.

The russian military hopes to use barges to transport personnel and equipment across the Dnipro, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Each such barge is a new target for the Ukrainian military: 4 barges have already been destroyed near Kherson alone. In general, since the beginning of the russian invasion in February, the Ukrainian military destroyed 16 enemy watercraft.

In addition, it became known that in the Kherson seaport, the occupiers demand to raise the russian flag on all the Ukrainian vessels that were captured. This is stated in the order of the russian occupation authorities, writes TSN.

At the same time, the russians do not hesitate to refer to international maritime customs and call the Black and Azov seas the internal waters of russian ederation.

“It has been established that a ship moving under the state or national flag of a foreign country must, in addition to its flag, when sailing in the internal waters of russian federation or while standing in the port of russian federation, raise and carry the state flag in accordance with international maritime customs of russian federation,” says the order of the invaders.

As USM previously reported, russian invaders  stole the fleet of the “Grain-Transshipment’ company in Kherson and are using it for their own purposes, in particular, to create pontoon crossings.
